The Vindicated Church began as small evening prayer meetings with fewer than seven (7) people, held at Grace Academy International School Park. These gatherings were filled with passion and hunger for God. However, due to incidents caused by other prayer groups, the school authority asked all groups to stop meeting on the premises — marking the end of our first gathering place.
After prayer and seeking God’s direction, we were divinely connected to a man named Mr. Mensah, who offered us a 3-bedroom uncompleted, gated space near Peace & Love Hospital, Spintex Road - Batsonaa. With faith and limited resources, we renovated the hall and its surroundings to suit our needs for fellowship and worship
On this day, The Vindicated Church was officially launched at the newly prepared space. The church continued meeting here for about a year, experiencing growth, unity, and spiritual encounters.
Challenges arose with the caretaker of the premises, leading to unpleasant conditions that were beyond our control. With no new location in sight and limited resources, we packed out and began seeking God once again for the next step.
In the midst of uncertainty, God led our General Overseer, Rev. E.N Joseph, to reach out to his covenant brother, Rev. Nicolas Adadae Quarshie, who was battling a severe kidney condition. Rev. Nicolas was the founder of Bibleway Community Chapel.
Before passing, Rev. Nicolas prophetically declared:
"I’ve prayed and I know my prayers. God said I should hand over Bibleway Community Chapel to you and merge it with The Vindicated Church."
Rev. E.N Joseph obeyed this spiritual instruction and began to run the church at Bibleway’s location, Spintex Road, Kotobabi Junction (above Papa’s Pizza), all while believing God for healing for his brother.
Sadly, in just under four months, Rev. Nicolas Adadae Quarshie passed away at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. After his burial, some members of Bibleway began to leave, influenced by a spirit of division and fault-finding, leaving fewer than five members behind.
With unwavering faith, Rev. E.N Joseph made a bold decision to revive and restructure the ministry under the full name and vision of The Vindicated Church. Administrative systems were re-established to bring order, clarity, and fresh momentum to the mission.
To see lives radically transformed by the accurate knowledge of Christ Jesus, turning brokenness into wholeness, despair into hope, and ordinary men and women into purpose-driven, Spirit-empowered vessels who influence their families, communities, and nations for God’s glory.
